Arsenal have been dealt a double blow as Sead Kolasinac and Mohamed Elneny tested positive for Covid-19 on international duty. Kolasinac, who played full 90 minutes in Bosnia-Herzegovina’s defeat to Netherlands will miss Wednesday’s Nations League match against Italy.
The Arsenal defender will also Premier League game against Leeds United and Europa League tie against Molde. Kolasinac is the second Arsenal player to test positive this week, after Egypt international Mohamed Elneny. Elneny tested positive on arrival in Togo for their Africa Cup of Nations qualifier. The Egyptian FA said Elneny had returned three negative tests since going on international duty. The Arsenal midfielder has returned to Cairo where he will be tested again.
