Paul Pogba breaks silence and hits out at his critics

Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba has taken to social media explaining the situation between him and the club after his agent Mino Raiola sensationally claimed the France international’s career is over at United. Pogba has come under intense scrutiny from fans and pundits with some of them suggesting the midfielder should leave the club in January. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has backed the midfielder and repeatedly said about Pogba’s desire to play for the Manchester United and bring success to the club.

Former Manchester United players Gary Neville and Roy Keane were critical of Pogba after the Manchester derby and said the midfielder should leave the club. Speaking on Sky Sports Gary Neville said “The reason Paul Pogba gets more criticism is quite simply because he is the biggest signing, a world champ and there’s a large expectation around him. I can accept a player not playing well but his agent and best friend has tried to get him out of this football club for the last 15 months. They can’t sign another player with that agent, enough is enough.”

Roy Keane echoed his former teammate’s opinion and said “I remember thinking he was a great signing but it hasn’t worked out. David Beckham wanted to leave Man United, Peter Schmeichel wanted to leave Man United, if Pogba wants to leave let him leave. Pogba’s left Man United before and they have survived, if he leaves again they will survive, trust me.”

Shortly after the pundits opinions were aired, Pogba took to Instagram and said “I’ve always fought and will always fight for Manchester United, my team-mates and the fans. Bla bla is not important. The future is far, today is what matters. I am 1,000 per cent involved! Always strong together.. all has been clear between the club and myself and that will never change. When you don’t know what’s going on inside don’t talk #SpeakTheTruthOrRemainSilent #united #talktothehand
